 Calliieforniiaa is an independent, rising music artist from the Southside of Chicago, whose sound is as bold and imaginative as her journey. Born with music in her veins, she found inspiration early on from legends like Michael Jackson, Nelly Furtado, and Adele. Her name, Calliie, came from her relentless dream of making it to Los Angeles to chase her creative destiny — a dream that continues to fuel her every step.

From performing as Nala’s understudy in The Lion King at just 10 years old, to dropping her first official single “White Mustang” in the summer of 2023, Calliieforniiaa has been sharpening her craft for years. Her process is intuitive and natural, often writing full songs in minutes — an effortless flow that comes from her deep connection to sound itself. “I’ve always lived in my imagination,” she explains. “It’s where all the sounds I’ve ever heard live, waiting to piece themselves into melodies and stories.”

Calliieforniiaa’s music is a reflection of her world — blending reality with fantasy, heartbreak with hope, and raw emotion with playful storytelling. Drawing inspiration from movies, books, life experiences, and even the surreal corners of her own mind, she creates sonic landscapes that invite listeners into her imaginative universe. Every beat, every lyric, every sound is intentional — a testament to her meticulous approach and boundless creativity.

 I received my BA in Film & Media Production with a minor in Communication. My experience is entry-level but I am a former actress from American Theater Company (ATC) and have shot & released my first short film titled "Everything comes to an end". I am new to the business and currently only make homemade videos from my Iphone but with time comes progress and when my skills become enhanced and sharpened, I plan to help produce for other companies projects. 

 I possess a sharp eye for detail, which I use to find even the smallest errors in text. I work well under pressure and can produce high-quality work in short periods of time. I have strong interpersonal skills and work with a wide variety of people.
